Firefighter Saves Dog's Life Twice

August 14, 2017

A firefighter in New York City who helped saved the life of a pup who was trapped during a house fire adopted the dog.

The firefighter was responding to a fire in the room of a three-story house earlier this month when members of the home told firefighters there were two dogs trapped inside.

The first puppy they found was dead but they found another under a bed.  The puppy had some burns and they gave him oxygen and wet him down.

It was then firefighters realized the family didn’t want the dog anymore.  That’s when the firefighter made arrangement to adopt the dog.
