Blake Shelton has shared the story behind his single, “Savior’s Shadow.” The track comes from his tenth studio album, If I’m Honest.

Written by Shelton, Jessi Alexander, and Jon Randall, the song brings us a very mature and faithful sound from the country superstar.

Shelton came up with the lyrics in a dream one night stating, “I sang it into my phone and I never forgot it. I would walk around for the next couple of months singing that verse.”

The Voice coach has added seven new singers to his team so far on season 12 including Brennley Brown, Lauren Duski, Josh Hoyer, Casi Joy, Ashley Levin, Aliyah Moulden, and Micah Tryba.

New episodes of The Voice air Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c.
