DeAnna Lee's Cauliflower Crust Pizza

30/10 Weight Loss for Life

January 8, 2018

We're into week two, and I continue to love 30/10 Weight Loss for Life.

I made Cauliflower Crust Pizza!  Yes, PIZZA! The number one question I get about this recipe... does it taste good? YES! It's delicious and filling!  Look, we are not fooling anybody that this is will replace pizza.  It's healthy and way for you to feel like you are eating pizza without all the carbs and calories.

Cauliflower Crust Pizza

Pizza:

1 lb. chopped cauliflower (Trader Joes)

1/3 cup of soft goat cheese

1 egg

1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. oregano

Toppings:

1/4 cup pizza sauce

mozzarella cheese

tomatoes

green bell peppers

mushrooms

kale

ANYTHING YOU WANT!

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl mix together the pizza ingredients. On a sheet pan lined with parchment paper (you must use this) form the cauliflower into a pizza shape. Round up the edges to create the "crust".

Bake 30-35 minutes or until crust begins to brown.

Add your pizza sauce, cheese, favorite toppings, then a little more cheese. Bake an additional 5 - 10 minutes. I like to broil 2 - 5 minutes at this point just to brown up the pizza a little more.

Enjoy!
