The Smarter You Are, the Less You Want a Lot of Friends

Hey, good news:  The reason you HATE going out on weekends and just want to sit at home watching Netflix with your cat ISN'T because you're an antisocial hermit.  It's because you're SMART.

A new study found that the smarter you are, the less you want a lot of friends.  You don't want to go out, hang out in groups, or stay close with a lot of people.

Here's the theory why.  It's our biological survival instinct to surround ourselves with people who care about us.  Smarter people feel like they're more equipped to handle whatever the world throws at them, so they're less reliant on friends.
